Honoring Sacred Transformations

I’m a queer, Afro-Caribbean settler on unceded T’Sou-ke lands of Vancouver Island, and I love the moon! I’m currently enrolled in Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings’ 12-week Full-spectrum and Child Birth Educator courses, as well as their Race & Privilege in Birthwork course.

As a doula-in-training, I’m currently offering birth and postpartum services at no cost as I work toward certification.

The new moon is a time of considering what will be nurtured and grown going forward. Bringing forth new life is sacred, and I want to help others navigate their journeys through pregnancy, birth, and into postpartum in ways that honor the magnitude of these transitions. Like the time of the new moon, reproductive passages signify blossomings into new ways of being. My joy is to help others cross these thresholds feeling knowledgeable, empowered, and spiritually attuned.

My training includes support through fertility, surrogacy, loss, and abortion care, as well as supporting queer and trans birth journeys. I’m guided by an intersectional lens, recognizing ways race, gender, economic status, dis/ability, and many other ways of being can impact reproductive experiences. I offer non-judgmental and evidence-based care that honors each person’s unique identity.

My doula style is reflected in my astral chart ✨As a quadruple Scorpio, I form deep, close-knit connections and value clear and transparent communication. As a parent, I know how important community is for folks crossing birth portals. I hope to feel like a cousin who knows your kitchen well enough to serve you a nourishing cup of tea.

I live in Sooke and offer in-person care from Shirley to Victoria.
